NEC LCD Technologies Enhances Lineup of TFT Color LCDs for Industrial Use

TOKYO, May 21st, 2003 - NEC LCD Technologies, Ltd. today announced the release of new 12.1-inch (31 cm diagonal screen) class TFT (thin-film transistor) color LCD (liquid crystal display) module(product code: NL10276BC24-13).
The NL10276BC24-13 has a XGA resolution of 1024x768 pixels and provides full color through its 8-bit digital RGB interface.Other features include high 350cd/m2-luminance with wide viewing angle. NEC LCD Technologies has expanded the operation temperature range to -10 to +70°C and the storage temperature range to -20 to +80°C.
The NL10276BC24-13 has keeping the mechanical compatibility with the NL8060BC31-17, 12.1-inch SVGA LCD module for industrial use, having the same hole position for installing and the same screen center position.
The sample of the new TFT LCD will be available from July and volume production is scheduled from August.
