Conflict Minerals

All of supply-chain partners are requested to recognize conflict minerals policy as the important matter and cooperate not to use minerals involving human-rights abuse in light of CSR. TMJ builds up responsible supply chain through your cooperation.

Conflict Minerals Policy of TMJ

TMJ shall not deal with or use material(s) (raw material, part or product etc.) containing Minerals (Tantalum, Tin, Gold, Tungsten Or Cobalt) that have possibility of involving human-rights abuse in the Democratic Republic of the Congo or adjoining countries.

Request for Suppliers

  1. Agree with the conflict minerals policy of TMJ.
  2. Supply product(s) not containing conflict minerals.
  3. Cooperate and respond to inquiries or questionnaires on conflict minerals from TMJ.
    1. On survey report, please use RMI(Responsible Minerals Initiative) template(3TG. CMRT,Cobalt,CRT).
    2. In case product(s) which is supplied to TMJ containing Minerals (Tantalum, Tin, Gold, Tungsten Or Cobalt) from you, the refining company’s information shall be provided.
    3. The refining company aforesaid shall be the company which verified compliance with RMI Conformant Smelters List (Conformant Smelters List) regulation on the RMI Conformant Smelters List adaption list or through international research organs.
    4. Please apply the above Policy to the entire Supply Chain.
